Permitidme que me presente. Soy Cristina Mesquita, nacida en San Sebastián en 1992 y afincada en Arguedas desde 2002. Desde muy pequeña me sentí atraída por la fotografía influenciada por mis padres que siempre iban cámara en mano. En 2015 me adentré en este mundo que se va desvelando tras la lente de la cámara. 

En 2016 la inquietud por retratar el mundo en sus diversas facetas me fue conquistando, lo cual me ha llevado a visitar lugares por toda la geografía mundial. He visitado lugares como Islandia, retratando impresionantes glaciares, las Islas Lofoten en Noruega con sus fiordos o los impresionantes Alpes Dolomitas en Italia. Y en territorio español… el parque nacional de Ordesa, el de Bardenas Reales de Navarra, Pirineos y diversos lugares de la costa cantábrica, por mencionar solo unos pocos, porque os aseguro que la lista es larga.

En esta web podeis encontrar solo unas pinceladas de los sitios que he visitado o historias que he retratado. Espero que las disfrutéis.

Let me introduce myself. My name is Cristina Mesquita, born in San Sebastián in 1992 and based in Arguedas since 2002. From a very young age, I was attracted to photography influenced by my parents who always went with the camera everywhere. In 2015 I entered this world that is revealed behind the camera lens.

In 2016 the inquietude to portray the world in all its facets invaded me, which has led me to visit places throughout the world. I have visited places like Iceland, photographing impressive glaciers, the Lofoten Islands in Norway with their fjords or the impressive Dolomite Alps in Italy. And in Spanish territory … the national park of Ordesa, Bardenas Reales de Navarra, Pyrenees or many places of the cantabrian coast , to mention just a few, because I assure you that the list is long.

On this website you can find only a few strokes of the sites I have visited or stories that I have portrayed. I hope you enjoy them.
